Homomorphic Encryption is a cryptographic technique that has attracted much attention in recent years because it can be utilized while protecting privacy information and confidential data.
In this talk, the speaker first explained the BFV scheme, which is constructed using the Ring-LWE problem, a mathematical problem that appears in lattice theory.
The speaker also explained examples of social implementations done by Microsoft, Apple, and NEC.
Finally, the speaker explained recent research results and showed us an example of how mathematics can be useful to society.
