Title : Introduction of mathematical applications in optical / precision instrument industry

Abstract:
Nikon corporation designs, manufactures and sells a wide variety of optical / precision instruments, and our Laboratory researches and develops fundamental mathematical technologies. In this presentation, we will introduce a wide range of mathematical methods used in the research and development of machine learning, computer vision, and AI, and express our expectations for improving the methods through further mathematical research.
