Report of Research, Shuhei Shibata (Kyushu University), through the Excellent Poster Award in FMfI2024

conf

With Subhro

From February 19th to February 28th, I visited Professor Subhro Ghosh (https://subhro-ghosh.github.io/) at National University of Singapore (NUS) for academic discussions under the financial support for the poster award winner in FMfI2024. Additionally, I attended and presented at NUS Probability Seminar.

My recent research interest is self-similar Gaussian processes, and a non-Markovian stochastic process called Elephant Random Walk. In particular, I am working on their asymptotic behaviors via the strong limit theorem. The purpose of this business trip is to introduce my research, engage in academic discussions with Professor Subhro Ghosh and other NUS’s probability members, and receive new ideas. I believe they has been fully achieved, especially through presenting at the Probability Seminar. I received constructive feedback at the seminar and the dinner held afterwards. The insights and new research directions provided during this trip will be invaluable as I continue to develop my research.

Finally, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Professor Subhro Ghosh and the group members for their valuable discussions and hospitality. I also extend my appreciation to my supervisor Professor Tomoyuki Shirai, and APCMfI and IMI for giving me such a great opportunity.
