Minisymposium “Mathematics for Industry in Asia Pacific Area”, ICIAM2019

Minisymposium “Mathematics for Industry in Asia Pacific Area” was organisedat ICIAM2019 on 16 July in Valencia, Spain.

This minisymposium was aimed at exposing various activities of"Mathematics for Industry" (MfI) in the Asia Pacific area, in particular,those which have been carried out by the members of the Asia PacificConsortium of Mathematics for Industry (APCMfI), and at sharing theexperiences with the worldwide communities. The topics cover thecomprehensive introduction of APCMfI, overview and historical remarks,the efforts to develop the relationship with industries such as thestudy groups, and the programs for young researchers and students. Thecurrent status of the preparation of ICIAM2023 was also reported.
