Minisymposium “Mathematics for Industry in Asia Pacific Area” was organised at ICIAM2019 on 16 July in Valencia, Spain.
This minisymposium was aimed at exposing various activities of
"Mathematics for Industry" (MfI) in the Asia Pacific area, in particular,
those which have been carried out by the members of the Asia Pacific
Consortium of Mathematics for Industry (APCMfI), and at sharing the
experiences with the worldwide communities. The topics cover the
comprehensive introduction of APCMfI, overview and historical remarks,
the efforts to develop the relationship with industries such as the
study groups, and the programs for young researchers and students. The
current status of the preparation of ICIAM2023 was also reported.
